A world class hospital located in Mullica Hill, NJ has an immediate need for an MRI Technologist to join their team.
Type: Contract, Minimum of 16 weeks, possibly longer
Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (11:30 - 20:00)
Location: Mullica Hill, NJ
Responsibilities:
Operates diagnostic imaging equipment in order to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes,
Process films and performs imaging enhancements according to procedure.
Ensure all radiographs are appropriately labeled as specified by Department
Participate in quality improvement activities by collecting and assisting in the interpretation of relevant data when requested.
Perform other duties as requested.
Explain procedures to patients and assists radiologist in administering medications.
Requirements:
Completion of 1-year course of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
1 year experience
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
NJ State MRI License required
Patient mix/Skill requirements: In-patient and Out-patient mix (mas 3 OP per day)
Experience with Phillips equipment preferred
Cerner charting experience preferred
