Job Title: Production Manager Location: Rocky Hill, CT Shift: First Shift Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to oversee and manage the production activities in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, team leadership, and a solid understanding of FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This role requires the ability to supervise, troubleshoot, and ensure that all production processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of operators who utilize automatic/manual equipment, forklifts, and other tools to blend, dispense, fill, and package products. Ensure adherence to FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) during daily operations. Manage daily production activities, ensuring that operations are aligned with the production schedule and that all departmental requirements are met. Monitor product manufacturing and packaging, ensuring compliance with batch tickets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to equipment or production processes. Provide on-the-job training for both new and existing team members, fostering a positive learning environment. Enforce safe work practices and ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Adhere to all plant environmental, health, and safety policies, as well as regulatory requirements. Prepare and submit daily reports to management as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum of five years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in a GMP facility and familiarity with FDA regulations. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage and collaborate with a diverse team. Proficiency in using computer systems as required for job performance. Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules. Must be able to wear specified personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel/composite toe boots, safety glasses, aprons, gloves, respirators, face shields, etc., as needed. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Frequent walking throughout the production facility. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds. Work Environment: A typical manufacturing environment with ambient room temperatures, lighting, and equipment.
