Job Description :

Morrison Law Firm, P.C. is seeking to hire an Associate Attorney in our White Plains, N.Y. office. Our firm offers healthcare benefits, 401(k) participation, and disability insurance.

Responsibilities will include :

• Managing a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to resolution, under partner supervision;
• Drafting pleadings, written discovery and motions;
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions; and
• Communicate with clients and draft status reports.

Qualifications :

• J.D. from an accredited law school;
• Admitted to practice in New York; Connecticut admission a plus;
• at least 2 years of experience in insurance defense, including New York Labor Law, products liability, environmental, construction defect, and premises liability;
• Superior research, analytical and organizational skills;
• Strong written and oral communication skills; and
• Collaborative and strong interpersonal skills.
