JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Unit Capacity: 24 Beds, one lead lined room suitable for radiation isolation Population Served: Patients with the following diagnosis: Solid tumors (most frequently lung, breast, colon)/Leukemia, Lymphomas, Myeloma/Gynecologic malignancies (primarily ovarian and cervical)/Cancer symptom management/Febrile Neutropenia/Uncontrolled pain/Sickle Cell Anemia/Hematologic diseases/Post operative Mastectomy/Post operative Gynecological Oncology/Med/Surg overflow

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Minimum of 1 years of Experience as a Travel Register Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing required

Requirements:

• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
