General Information
Unit Specifics:
• Number of Beds: 15 beds
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): 1-2 LNA support
• Type of equipment: Client Monitors, Hamilton Bipap and Hiflo, Baxter IV Pumps, Hemospheres
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
• Scheduling requirements: 12 shifts month (3 shifts a week). 4 weekend shifts Month. Department leadership completes the schedule around the RTO
• Floating policy: Floating will be on a rotation basis with Travelers floating first
• Patient Experience requirements: MyCare board are updated each shift during bedside shift report. Bedside shift report is completed at each change of shift

o Level 2 Trauma Center
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have:
• Strong telemetry skills
• Experience titrating vasoactive medication such as levophed, phenylephrine, dopamine, dobutamine
• Chest Tube
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Temporary Pacing
Procedures performed on unit:
• Temporary Pacing
• Pre-op prep for cardiovascular surgery
• Chest-tube removal, arterial line removal
Certifications Required:
• CLS
• BLS
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
• Scrubs (color doesn't matter)
