Job Title: RN - ICU
Location: Warren, MI 48093
Duration: 3 Months+ contract (Possible Extension)
Schedule Notes: 19:00 - 07:30
Job Summary:
  • Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
  • Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
  • Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
  • Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Education:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).

Required Certification & Licensure:
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS

Skills:
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Schedule Notes:
  • MUST HAVE 2 years' experience.
  • MUST HAVE basic dysrhythmia testing competency.
  • Must be willing to float between stepdown unit and ICU This is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4hrs, with potential to be pulled to a new assignment in 4hr blocks of time
