Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: 2 years required, ICU experience preferred
License: Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of work and residence; or if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in the home state; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state of work
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Must-Have: Navy blue scrubs, willingness to work during specified holidays except for one, fluency in English (speak, read, write)
Job Description:
- Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation.
- Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with legal or policy parameters or principles.
- Evaluate progress toward the attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Practice in a manner congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare consumer and other key stakeholders in nursing practice.
- Demonstrate leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.

Physical Requirements:
- Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must possess intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch, along with finger dexterity.
- Critical thinking and ability to concentrate are essential.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
