Shift: 07:00-19:00, days/nights, every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital experience and 2 years of specialty experience
License: Active RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have: MEDITECH experience preferred, TNCC, CCRN, TCRN
Job Description:
- Work in an ICU/CCU setting with 36 CCU beds and 30 Burn Trauma ICU beds.
- Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 with support from a supervisor and PCT on every shift.
- Perform procedures such as central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions.
- Utilize the Meditech documentation system.
- Meet scheduling requirements, including working every other weekend and floating as needed.
- Adhere to the dress code, wearing royal blue scrubs; maintain clean and healthy nails without artificial enhancements; ensure hair is neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer; cover visible tattoos and avoid any non-ear piercings.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and experience.
