Job Description
Position: RN - Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU)
Type: W2 Contract
Location: New York, NY
Weekly Pay Rate: $2,232 - $2,653
(Travel Package available, Home Base Must be 50+ miles from work site)
Schedules: Required Rotating Weekends
  • Day: 7am - 7:30pm
  • Night: 7pm - 7:30am
Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical examinations and assessments on patients
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Assist with procedures such as cardiac catheterization and airway management
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records on EPIC
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients
Requirements:
  • Associated Degree in Nursing
  • NYS RN License
  • AHA ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Two (2) of Post Open Heart and Cardiac Care Unit experience
