About the Role - RPR is seeking a Vice President, Real Estate with an entrepreneurial spirit, superior writing skills, and an energy devoted to helping companies develop strategic communications campaigns. The VP should be passionate about real estate, PropTech, and ancillary real estate services. The successful candidate must also be highly experienced to generate crossover media exposure, and provide strategic counsel to clients and leadership, effectively demonstrating both a collaborative and independent work ethic.
*This is an in-office role Monday through Thursday at our Midtown Manhattan office. Fridays are remote.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement on-point strategic communications programs
- Foster and maintain a professional rapport with current and potential clients
- Develop impactful story angles, and produce written materials that consistently secure top-tier coverage in online, trade, print, broadcast, and online media outlets
- Execute high-impact media exposure, consistently produce high-quality internal and external communications content
- Possess an unwavering attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, bringing a sense of urgency to the task at hand with a proactive attitude
- Deliver outstanding client service, relevant written materials, as well as providing both strategic counsel and hands-on results
- Demonstrate expertise in navigating challenging situations in partnership with senior executives
- Oversee operational performance of accounts, ensuring quality work with deadline and budget adherence
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior level staff supervising quality and performance and ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined
- Actively participate in new business efforts and seek opportunities to grow assigned accounts and source new opportunities
Qualifications
- 8+ years at a New York PR or marketing agency ideally working in real estate. In-house real estate experience will also be considered
- BS/BA in public relations, marketing, business communications, or related field
- Strong media contacts and excellent writing skills
- Proven ability to create media plans from concept and follow through to placement
- Exemplary communication, leadership/supervisory skills with the ability to multitask
- Meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Successfully deliver exceptional communications to identified target markets
- Possess a creative and energetic personality
- Proficient knowledge of commercial real estate and rental markets

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this role is $125k-$150k/yr. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and location.
