Summary
PartsASAP is looking to hire a highly reliable and skilled Route Delivery Driver/Salesperson with knowledge of products, sales experience and is able to safely and efficiently transport company inventory to and from our customers. The Route Salesperson's primary duty is making deliveries of the Company's products to customers while obtaining sales by (i) soliciting new prospect customers and (ii) persuading regular customers to increase the amount of their purchases, or to purchase new Company products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Operate a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner with a valid driver's license.
•Deliver products to customers along their route and/or within territory -- verify parts delivered to customers and obtain signature of customer confirming the accuracy compared to the invoice.
•Handling heavier inventory on pallets with the assistance of a pallet jack.
•Protect company assets by diligently performing all duties in a safe manner, including safely handling products delivered and payments collected.
•Comply with established company policies and procedures.
•Promote and sell the Company's products to servicing customers to increase route deliveries.
•Develop relationships with and provide service to existing customers that insures customer retention and customer loyalty.
•Identify potential new customers and solicit business from the same to increase route deliveries.
•Be familiar with the Company's product literature and be able to convey product information and availability to customers to insure the growth of both revenue and the number of customers along route and/or within territory.
•Provide exemplary customer service.
•Employees must be prepared to work in adverse weather conditions and will be
provided with necessary safety equipment to mitigate risks associated with
extreme heat, cold, rain or wind.
•Performs all other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
•This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
•Ability to sit, stand, climb, bend, and kneel on a regular basis.
•Regular manual dexterity/coordination: hand/eye movements, motor control.
•Regular visual effort: concentrated reading of documentation.
•Able to push, pull and lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
Potential Hazards
•Employee may be exposed to hazardous substances including a variety of petroleum- based products, cleaning solvents, etc. on a regular basis.
•Employee may be exposed to sharp (cutting) tools on a regular basis.

Required Education/Experience/Skills
•High School graduate, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills
•Must possess and maintain a current Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card, certifying physical and mental fitness to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV).
•Must have a driving record with no major violations, such as DUI, reckless driving, or excessive speeding, in accordance with DOT regulations.
•Comply with ongoing random testing requirements as per DOT guidelines.
•Must meet all health and physical requirements as outlined by the DOT, including vision, hearing, blood pressure, and cardiovascular health standards.
•A minimum of two years sales experience is preferred.
•Some business-related college coursework is preferred.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Willingness to travel as required.

•Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card
•Valid driver's license.
