ACERTUS is looking for Full Time Local Drivers with a REGULAR Drivers license to transport passenger vehicles locally in a safe and efficient manner. You will take vehicles from the railyards and deliver them to up fitters in the Kansas City Metro area. You must be willing and able to drive anything from a Ford Bronco Sport up to an F-350 Pickup truck. We are looking for team players who are committed to providing our clients with excellent customer service. Monday thru Friday. 7AM start times. This is a fulltime position. Drivers can expect to work 30- 40 hours a week.

WE REQUIRE:

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Candidates over the age of 65 are subject to an additional review process for insurance purposes.
• Candidates over the age of 65 must provide a letter of insurability from their personal physician for insurance purposes.
• Must have a valid and current driver's license.
• Clean MVR
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Drivers must be smoke-free.
• No smoking, vaping, tobacco use, eating, drinking in the customer's vehicles or at the delivery/service locations at any time.
• One year of driving experience
• Must be able to operate a Smart Phone/Device (including a variety of applications)
• Must be willing and able to drive in different weather and road conditions.
• Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be willing and able to get in and out of various vehicles (cars, vans, Sprinter-type vans, 24 -26ft. box trucks, etc.) and be able to operate vehicles assigned.
• Previous experience driving larger vehicles (i.e., Vans, Sprinter-type Vans. 24 -26ft. box trucks.) preferred, but not required.
• Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of laws governing the operation of motor vehicles on public roads.
• Must maintain a professional appearance (clean collared shirt, clean shorts/pants, well-groomed)

What will you be doing?

• Shuttling vehicles from a railyard to local clients.
• Removing tags from vehicles and placing in designated bin.
• Communicate timely and effectively with clients and management.
• Present electronic and hard copies of documents pertaining to the vehicle.
• Submit required documents for processing.
• If no work is available at the yard, you will work locally out of the Lees Summit hub.
• You must be willing and able to perform all other duties as assigned by management.
