Job Description: Siemens Healthineers is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Scranton, Pennsylvania.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: CT TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 01/27/2025Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, eveningsEmployment Type: Travel We're looking for a Travel CT Technologist in Wilkes-Barre, PA.\n\nExperience required:\n-\tClinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years CT clinical experience required\n-\tValid ARRT license, registered in CT\n-\tSiemens scanner experience\n\nResponsibilities include:\n-\tPerforming CT diagnostic imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to department procedures and protocols.\n-\tLocating and recording internal elements of the body, and identifying any anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions.\n-\tAdjusting equipment and calming patient to eliminate test artifacts.\n-\tMonitoring the patient for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changes.\n-\tEvaluating test results for clarity and accuracy.\n-\tReviewing tests with peers and physician.\n-\tInforming physicians of preliminary findings as requested according to department procedures.\n-\tDistributing completed test results to physicians and service providers.\n-\tPreparing diagnostic information for physician interpretation.\n-\tMaintaining patient charts, entering diagnosis and billing codes, logging data into patient information systems, and updating file systems for tests performed.\n-\tCleaning and sterilizing equipment and work space.\n-\tRecognizing equipment malfunctions and readjusting equipment or writing referrals for repair.\n-\tInstructing patients in pretest preparation, answering questions, and explaining procedures.\n-\tMaintaining equipment according to Infection Control procedure.\n-\tMaintaining technical competency through continued education and participation in Siemens training programs.\n-\tUnder guidance and approval of site Radiologist, administering contrast agents according to site-specific protocols.\n-\tMaintaining current Permits to Practice in all states in which services are performed.\n-\tPerforming equipment quality checks and troubleshooting problems.\n-\tCalling for service and notifying all pertinent team members.\n-\tFollowing quality assurance guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality.\n-\tPerforming additional duties as required.\nAbout Siemens Healthineers Our purpose When our health is at risk, we rely on physicians to make the best possible decisions – from quick, early diagnoses to the most effective treatments and follow-ups.
