About Cardinal Point


Cardinal Point is a high growth, fast paced independent private wealth management firm with offices in Canada and the US. We focus on providing personalized investment, estate, tax and cross border financial planning solutions to affluent individuals and families and specialized financial representation for professional athletes. We are looking for a full-time client onboarding specialist to join our team to provide services at our head office in Toronto. ‘


Responsibilities


As a Client Onboarding Specialist at a high-growth company, you will be working closely with our client relationship managers and our client relationship specialist team, to provide the necessary support with client account onboarding.

• Welcoming clients, setting up accounts, training clients on how to use account management and recordkeeping systems.

• Managing account paperwork including accurately and promptly filling out and tracking investment account paperwork for account openings, transfers, changes, etc. for multiple clients and custodians in both Canada and the US. Oversee a large number of these projects with deadlines.

• Coordinate multiple client onboarding projects as part of a team in collaboration with the onboarding and the client relationship teams.

• Special projects as needed as part of the client service team to ensure proper compliance with regulatory oversight and documentation of the client relationships.

• Using feedback to improve the processes and client experience and documenting standard operating procedures.


Qualifications


• A bachelor’s degree

• Relevant experience with a bank or custodian with preparing and coordinating onboarding paperwork

• Basic Microsoft Office

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong strategic skills

• Proactive problem-solving skills

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Excellent organizational skills
