**This position is both base salary and commission-based

We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing management team as a new member at our West Village location.

We are looking for a Private Events Sales Manager to join our team to oversee Private Events Sales for one of our most exciting locations. We are excited about candidates who can use their experience and skills to develop and implement programs and events as well as sustain an aggressive sales program focused on increasing business. 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- assisting with marketing campaigns for current guests as well as generating new leads

- managing sales activities of qualified leads, retention, and lost sales. 

- managing all leads and events in Tripleseat, creating all event BEOs, updating event menus, communicating event schedules and information to the restaurant management and service teams, and printing all event materials for each event. 

- responsibility for overseeing events as well as event execution when necessary.

- supporting other operational aspects of our business by creating efficient SOPs for proposals, contracts, and guest correspondence. 

- demonstrating leadership in guest hospitality, excellent customer service, and the ability to create a positive example for guest relations.

- meeting with guests during pre and post-meetings to gain feedback on the quality of each event, and recommend opportunities for improvement.

- working collaboratively with on and off-property sales channels to ensure our location's needs are being achieved.

- supporting the General Manager with administrative tasks to help meet operations, marketing, and financial goals as necessary. 

-performing operational administrative tasks which may include, but are not limited to maintaining service/training materials, updating menus, POS/website updates, printing menus, and additional administrative tasks in support of the management teams.

 

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the field of Private Events Sales with high-end concepts at a manager level and understand the internal and external complexities of managing events from start to finish.  We are seeking someone who exudes high energy and a positive and enthusiastic work demeanor with both guests and work colleagues.  This candidate must be an effective communicator with all team members including our dining room and kitchen teams. Must also possess the ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills as well as be highly organized, detail detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and take initiative.
