What You'll Do:
As Kitchen Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our culinary operations, ensuring the kitchen runs like a well-oiled machine while inspiring a team of passionate cooks. Your role will include:
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of talented line cooks, prep staff, and dishwashers. Foster a positive, collaborative kitchen culture that thrives under your leadership.
- Culinary Excellence: Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain the high standards our guests know and love.
- Inventory Management: Manage food inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste to keep costs in check without compromising quality.
- Operational Efficiency: Create schedules, uphold food safety and cleanliness standards, and ensure kitchen operations meet all compliance requirements.
- Menu Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef and leadership team to refine existing menu items and contribute fresh, creative ideas for seasonal specials.
- Problem Solving: Stay calm under pressure and tackle challenges head-on in a busy, high-volume environment.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role in a fast-paced restaurant or café setting.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and inventory control.
- A passion for great food, creative cooking, and inspiring others.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to motivate and mentor your team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
