Riverside is recruiting for a part-time or full-time general orthopedic or sports-medicine fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon to provide general orthopedic surgical services in the Smithfield area with no arthroplasty. Operating at Riverside's Smithfield hospital, this position will be predominantly or exclusively based out of our Smithfield practice, working in tandem with non-operative providers in the same practice to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal services. This position will be a part of a largely sub-specialty network, but provide general orthopedic services in a new, growing satellite location. Access to sub-specialists, including arthroplasty, is available on the Peninsula as needed. This position will have access to the robust ancillary services including physical/occupational therapy, advanced imaging, and a growing internal referral network of various specialties.
This position has no opportunity for total joint arthroplasty.
