Certification Details Texas therapy license Job Details Building/floor: ED/Building; ground floor Units – 378 bed hospital with service lines that include orthopedic/elective joints, neurology, vascular and general medical/surgical. Number of Staff – 27 Physical Therapists, 19 Occupational Therapists, 5 Speech Therapists Patient ratios – target of 8 patients per day in Acute Care and 4 patients in ARU/Rehab Unit Type of equipment – DMEs, exercise equipment EMR – Meditech Typical procedures performed on units: Therapy evaluation and treatment, Patient screening for appropriate need for therapy services, Performs appropriate patient discharge recommendations. Best personality fit: Positive attitude, can “roll with the punches”, Open to changes and able to adapt quickly. Job Requirements Must have: Flexible to changing schedules, Willing to work on the weekends, Fast learner and receptive to training.
