POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Les Richeloises residence offers a friendly work environment, a warm atmosphere and a quality of life!! Working in a residence is more than a professional experience, it is a life experience and rewarding responsibilities with a golden clientele!
We are currently looking for talented Auxiliary Nurses who care about the health of residents.
TEMPORARY position (maternity leave replacement) full-time, 40 hours per week, day and evening, Sunday to Saturday and every other weekend.
Evening premium applicable.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
  • Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
  • Respond to all emergency situations
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
  • Ease in the use of computer tools
  • Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
  • Know Symo software (an advantage)
  • At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in nursing
  • Member of the OIIAQ
