Job Requirements 1 year surgical tech experience in this specialty Completed an accredited surg tech program and be certified by NBSTSA or completed a Military program AND 16 hours of CEUs every two years Must hold a CST or meet state requirements for surgical techs. Schedule Information Shifts: 6a-6p/6p-6a 36 hours guaranteed per week Mandatory call/standby requirement: 1 12 hour shift per 4 week schedule Call response time: 20 minutes Unit Specific Information Unit/Department specific orientation: 1 day hospital, 1 shift on the unit; variable days and evenings with call team rotation Additional Details BLS certification required Housing is very difficult with pets - special housing finds required prior to placement Scrub Tech does not require a certification if on the job training completed by 7/2014
