budgets, marketing, and strategic plans for all stations, focusing on improving profitability, ratings, revenue, and expense control.
Regularly meet with prospective and current clients to develop and maintain sales relationships.Be responsible for the market's overall financial performance and revenue/expense projections.Develop new business in selected markets and geographic locations.Oversee daily operations, including financial performance, programming, sales, technical aspects, human resources, and business administration.Recruit, train, motivate, and mentor department heads and the sales team.Prepare and execute annual operating and capital expense budgets, including strategic action plans and programming calendars.Actively manage multiple client accounts, including direct and agency-based clients.Resolve inter-department conflicts and HR issues involving direct reports.Ensure stations comply with all FCC regulations to protect station(s) FCC license(s). What you will bring: Knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations.Proven experience in recruiting, training, and mentoring, with strong problem-solving skills.Understanding of digital assets and market trends.Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.Proficiency in relevant computer programs.College degree or equivalent work experience.Valid driver’s license.Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs and sit for extended periods.
