Heavy Equipement Mechanic (construction equipment)

Role

The mechanic performs on-the-road repairs and maintenance on all Kubota and other products sold by Kubota Montreal.

Determines the nature of repairs and the time required to repair, as well as defects in order to proceed with the repair.

Adjust, repair and/or replace defective parts using hand or power tools.

Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation.

Ensure compliance of equipment with customer and manufacturer requirements.

Clean and lubricate equipment and perform routine maintenance.

Respect established repair times.

Work in a safe manner.

Clean work area and maintain shop equipment in good condition.

Complete daily paperwork such as time sheets, warranty reports, etc.

Perform any other related duties as requested by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

DEP in diesel, agricultural or construction equipment mechanics

At least 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in diagnostics.

Knowledge of agricultural or construction equipment products.

Knowledge of Kubota products an asset.

Self-motivated, good team spirit and ability to detect faults, customer service oriented.
