Job Title: Machinist / Fabricator / Manufacturing Lead

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a variety of manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, lathes, laser cutters, plasma cutters, and more.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to design and build fixtures and prototypes for product development and testing.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication drawings to ensure precise and accurate production.
• Perform low-volume machining to create parts and components for testing and product development.
• Guide and mentor team members on the operation of manufacturing equipment and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a machinist or fabricator role, with a preference for candidates with 10 or more years of experience.
• Proficiency in operating a wide range of manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, lathes, laser cutters, and plasma cutters.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and limitations.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Experience with welding is highly desirable.
• Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality and precision.
