Editorial Copywriter, B2B

Planet Interactive is looking for an Editorial Copywriter, B2B to join our well known lifestyle brand technology client on an 12-month contract. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role working a remote schedule.
You’ll be the lead writer behind the Company's brand new thought leadership program, inspiring the stories we tell to advertisers at scale. You’ll work closely with research partners and integrated marketing team to identify the most pressing industry issues and lead the writing and development across editorials, white papers, scaled keynotes, and more. There is a lot of room to grow in this role as the team builds out a world-class business writing team all over the world to meet our expanding advertiser business.
Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, repeat. Projects include but are not limited to keynotes, white papers, long-form blog posts, and buzzy promotional materials.
- Partner with brand research team to find the most urgent, compelling insights that will change advertiser perception and behavior.
- Collaborate and meet regularly with cross-functional teams, from brand research and partner insights to the Business Marketing team.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and work closely with C-suite executives to help guide the stories.
- Write with the advertiser audience in mind — how they think and what will change their minds.
Qualifications:
- Long form narrative experience directed towards B2B required
- Portfolio included with application
- Ability to take complex, advertiser-focused insights or data points and make them human and interesting
- Adept at writing all types of long form and short form content (white papers, scaled keynote speeches, blog posts, social media, email, etc)
- Experience engaging and working directly with senior stakeholders and presenting in large creative review forums (executive readiness)
- Adept at measuring the impact of editorial content and have experience using data to continually iterate on strategy
