It's all here and it's exactly what going further is all about.nnPosition SummarynnOperates various tractor trailer combinations over long distances to deliver freight in a safe, claims-free, and cost-efficient manner.nnMajor Tasks and ResponsibilitiesnnDrives tractor trailers to deliver and pickup freight between company terminals, customer facilities, or meeting points.nnTravels regionally and cross-regionally while pulling single, double, or triple trailers.nnFollows established pre-trip, post-trip, freight handling, and billing procedures.nnConducts inspections by following established safety and quality control procedures.nnHooks, unhooks, and assesses equipment in compliance with Department of Transportation guidelines.nnRetains and maintains records, logs, forms, and load-related paperwork.nnPay Rate: $0.745 - $0.830 per mile, based on experiencennPay Range: - , General Benefits:nnJob RequirementsnnPreferred QualificationsnnClass A commercial driver's license.nnSafe motor vehicle report and applicable endorsements, including hazmat, tankers, doubles, and triples.nn1+ years of tractor trailer driving experience.nnWillingness to work long hauls and overnight hours.nnPrior experience hooking and unhooking trailers, handling dollies, and making and breaking trailer sets.nnBenefitsnnAt Saia, your success is our success!
