Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned. -Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. -Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A Schedule Notes: *At least 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg-Tele unit required *Prior experience with Geriatric patients Strongly preferred *NIHSS Cert Strongly preferred *Will be working on ACE (Acute Care of Elderly) unit *60 year old Patients *1:5 Ratio *Stroke Overflow unit *Diverse patient population Shift Hours: 1, Every other weekend, every other holiday, no on call, no block scheduling available. eTeam Inc Job ID #24329977.
