We are seeking a talented, experienced and passionate Executive Pastry Chef to join our award winning restaurant group. The perfect candidate will have a strong background in pastry culinary arts. Candidate must have minimum of four years experience in a fine dining restaurant.
- Creating and testing recipes : Develop desserts tailored to the restaurant's concept incoordination with their seasonal menus. Strong knowledge of current food trends with a focus on using seasonal ingredients
- Creating desserts : Using tools to make elaborate desserts for production, food cost controls, menu development and presentation
- Baking : Baking bread and other baked goods
- Hiring, training, and supervising : Managing lower-level pastry chefs and restaurant kitchen staff at each locations to execute your recipes to your vision
- Ordering supplies : Ensuring the kitchen has the necessary ingredients and supplies to execute their creations
- Maintaining equipment : Keeping kitchen equipment in good working order
