POSITION SUMMARY: Provides treatment to patients by evaluating their function and applying appropriate treatments to improve or restore function. Participates in interdisciplinary in servicing and community education, and in the clinical education of affilating students. May be responsible for cross-site coverage.
- Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy with a minimum of a B.S.
- Must hold a current state license in Physical Therapy.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in the use of Windows based programs.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites.

- Evaluates patients based on departmental standards.
- Conducts and modifies evaluations based on the patient's symptoms and medical status.
- Treats patients with appropriate therapeutic exercises.
- Administers physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques.
- Educates patients/families in home exercise programs.
- Determines appropriate discharge for patients.
- Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines.
- Seeks and fosters interdepartmental communication.
- Supervises at least one affiliated student per year.
- Attends continuing education courses.
- Participates in departmental or community in-services.
