Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: AM/PM - 12-hour shifts, day/night rotation, every other weekend, every other holiday
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
License: Registered Nurse (RN)
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must-Have:
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Experience with automated medication dispensing systems
- Completion of telemetry test on the first day
Job Description:
- Work in a 38-bed unit with patient ratios of generally 1:4 or 1:5
- Care for patients with conditions in Neurology, Stroke, and other medical needs
- Preferred experience in Surgical, Neuro, and Orthopedics
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system is considered a plus
