Job Description

An Athens, Alabama based client is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient care in a dermatology practice. An ideal candidate is motivated, collaborative, and has one or more years of experience.

Required Qualifications
n
n- AL medical license as an NP
n- Master’s Degree (MSN), Doctoral Degree (DNP)
n- Current NP board certification by ANCC/AANP
n- CPR certification
n
n
Preferred Qualifications
n
n- 1-2 years of experience
n- Additional language fluency
n
n
Responsibilities
n
n- Utility of advanced technology for medical, surgical, and cosmetic services for patients of all ages
n- Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow up for dermatological conditions
n- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services
n- Work within evidence based medicine at all times to provide the best possible care
n- Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy and JCAHO standards
