Shift: DaynnHours per week:nn40nnSalary range:nnDepends on ExperiencennNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant- Binghamton Internal Medicine Medical Center / Overview We are seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for our UHS Primary Care- Binghamton location. This is a busy, out-patient practice in a well-established office. Position is 100% outpatient. Conducts physicals, orders tests and serves as a patient’s primary healthcare provider.nnSalary Range: $124,000- $145,800 AnnuallynnKey Responsibilities and ExpectationsnnEducation/ExperiencennMinimum Required:nnMaster of Science in Nursing (MSN) degreennPossession of an NPI (National Provider Identification) number, as evidenced by the receipt of a copy of the notification assigning the numbernnSuccessful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner programnnThree (3) years of professional nursing experience in a clinical settingnnPreferred:nnDoctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)nnLicense/CertificationnnMinimum Required:nnCurrent NYS Registered Professional Nurse LicensennAmerican Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)certificationnnCurrent NYS Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) license and certification with New York State Education DepartmentnnDocumentation of current CPR certification required within one (1) week of hire, with maintenance of current CPR certification during employmentnnCertified Prescriptive Privilege in NYSnnPreferred:nnAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) CertificationnnPossession of Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD)NumbernnWork EnvironmentnnAll work is performed in offices and patient examination rooms that require working in close quarters with other employees and patients. The offices are air conditioned/heated.
