DescriptionnnESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:nnDelivers direct care for employees at site according to medical directives within the scope of practice and regulations of the State Nurse Practice Act in the applied state. Adheres to health management policies, protocols, medical directives, and physician standing orders according to scope of practice.nnProvides compassionate, quality care to employees.nnAdheres to all state and federal regulations including OSHA, Worker's Compensation, etc. Adheres to HIPAA compliance of confidentiality of employees' personal health information.nnParticipates in health and safety teaching of employees.nnEstablishes and maintains good working relationships with departmental staff, complex management, supervisory staff, local healthcare providers, and third party administrator (TPA).nnConducts all assigned and additional job tasks within legal, ethical, and moral standards of care in a professional and effective manner.nnMaintains accurate documentation and assists in departmental medical records upkeep. Provides appropriate documentation of all care provided in a professional and effective manner.nnKeeps department clean and orderly.nnNotifies Occupational Health Manager and designee of any pertinent physical and emotional changes of symptoms presented by employees.nnOther duties as assigned.nnMust be willing to become BLS/CPR Instructor certified.nnMay require availability outside of normal business hours such as coverage for another shift for vacation, illness, etc.nnMay require travel.nnREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:nnTypically requires a minimum of 1 year of experience.nnMust be able to on call one weekend a month.nnMust be able to work other hours/shifts as needed.nnMust be able to work in excess of 40 hours when needed, including Saturdays and/or Sundays.nnBe able to react effectively in medical emergency situations.nnBi-lingual speaking is preferred.nnQualifications:nnBasic Qualifications: 1. Applicant must have a minimum of LPN/RN license in state of employment. 2. AHA CPR/AED/First Aid Certification or BLS certification is required, AHA BLS Instructor Certificate a plus. 3. Applicant must have excellent people skills, recordkeeping/injury management experience, plus independent decision making skills. 4. Bilingual Spanish a plus. 5. Background check along with drug and alcohol testing are required. 6. Must obtain certification in drug and alcohol collections.nnPosition is for full time position—hours to be discussed during interview.nnEOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
