We are seeking a part-time Clinical Nurse who is committed to creating a caring environment for patients and their families. On weekend nights, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with a team of professionals who value kindness and active listening. Your contributions are essential to our mission and the success of our department.
As a Clinical Nurse III, you will have the opportunity to:
- Implement physician orders and administer medications with precision.
- Perform vital procedures, including starting IVs and conducting special tests, while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Assess patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide both primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
- Guide and direct ancillary personnel, ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse license in New York State.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.
- Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and ability to apply them in patient care settings.
Hourly Range: $36.73 - $60.93
