Join BAYADA as a Travel PT, where you'll play a crucial role in setting the stage for successful patient care, safe transitions and positive outcomes for our patients.nnJoin our team of travel PT’s where you can build the flexible schedule that works for you! Weekends, weekdays, evenings – we will work with your availability.nnThis position is a 13-week commitment (with option to extend) that allows you the flexibility to work a minimum of two and up to five days a week doing home health.nnWe provide a premium rate differential plus mileage reimbursement.nnAs a Travel PT with BAYADA at BAYADA you will:nnPerform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as the mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments.nnDevelop and implement appropriate individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.nnContinually assess and revise the Physical Therapy - PT care plan, and participate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.nnEducate and instruct clients, family members, or other client representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.nnAccurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.nnImplement integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair utilizing evidence-based dressings and topical agentsnnRequirements:nnActive and current license to practice as a professional Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of VT.nnPrevious home health experience required.nnMust commit to a 13-week assignment.nnOASIS experience required; previous HCHB experience preferred.nnAbility to travel throughout the region based on our census.nnAbility to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.nnCompensation:nnPremium compensation based on experience and type of visitnnAs an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider, BAYADA complies with all state/local mandates.nnBAYADA Home Health Care, Inc., and its associated entities and joint venture partners, are Equal Opportunity Employers.
