What it takes to become a RN with Care Initiatives:

• Valid RN license in good standing. The license must be valid within the state of Iowa, or it must be able to be activated.
• Current, valid CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• A strong commitment to helping others and consistently treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.

What it takes to become an LPN with Care Initiatives:

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. The license must be valid within the state of Iowa, or it must be able to be activated.
• Current, valid CPR Certification.
• Documented completion of state-approved LPN supervisory course or ability to obtain it within first 90 days of employment.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• A strong commitment to helping others and consistently treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.
