Radiology Technologist Job Responsibilities: - Uses appropriate scan parameters and positions patients accurately to produce scans as prescribed by a physician.
- Maintains good working rapport with medical staff and Radiologists to provide excellent patient care.
- Processes and critiques films to be read by radiologists.
- Provides technologist notes and impressions.
- Explains procedure to each patient prior to exam.
- Must have ability to obtain scans on various age groups and patients--prenatal through geriatric. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and can identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
- Must screen ALL personnel including him/herself before entry into the extreme magnetic field environment.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid Washington State license as a certified Radiological Technologist.
- Must maintain current BLS certification.
Candidate can be eligible if they meet of the following pathways: - MR certified RT(MR)(ARRT) through ARRT
- Registered Technologist RT(R)(MR)(ARRT)
- Registered Technologist RT(R)(ARRT) and MR registry eligible to be completed within 1 year required
