Radiology Technologist Job Responsibilities:

• Uses appropriate scan parameters and positions patients accurately to produce scans as prescribed by a physician.
• Maintains good working rapport with medical staff and Radiologists to provide excellent patient care.
• Processes and critiques films to be read by radiologists.
• Provides technologist notes and impressions.
• Explains procedure to each patient prior to exam.
• Must have ability to obtain scans on various age groups and patients--prenatal through geriatric. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and can identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• Must screen ALL personnel including him/herself before entry into the extreme magnetic field environment.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a valid Washington State license as a certified Radiological Technologist.
• Must maintain current BLS certification.

Candidate can be eligible if they meet of the following pathways:

• MR certified RT(MR)(ARRT) through ARRT
• Registered Technologist RT(R)(MR)(ARRT)
• Registered Technologist RT(R)(ARRT) and MR registry eligible to be completed within 1 year required
