We proudly offer outpatient health services in Brasher Falls, Canton, Colton, Gouverneur, Massena, Norfolk, and Potsdam, NY.nSTATUS: Per DiemnLOCATION: Canton-Potsdam HospitalnDEPARTMENT: MSU 2nSCHEDULE: 12-hr variable shiftnATTRIBUTESnnRequired: Graduate of an accredited nursing school programnPreferred: BSN from an accredited nursing school programnRequired: Current, unrestricted New York State registered professional nursing license; AHA BLS upon hirenPreferred: National CertificationnnRESPONSIBILITIESnnPerforms a comprehensive patient assessment to identify patient and family needs.nDevelops and implements a comprehensive plan of care involving the patient and the family.nPerforms and documents direct patient and family centered care and patient education according to nursing standards of practice.nIdentifies and responds to patient conditions to achieve positive patient outcomes.nPerforms discharge planning to ensure safe and appropriate transition of care.nDirects and delegates care provided by unlicensed team members.nProvides world class customer service to patients and families.nnPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.nPAY RANGE: $40.86 - $55.11nThe listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
