Desired pay rate = 50/hr. Hiring manager = Omead Moinee Contract duration = 6 months with the possibility to extend based on performance. Work Environment = Fully onsite Job description: - Mid-Level to experienced career level position - 6 month contract with the possibility to extend based on performance Skills / Education - Must have can-do-attitude be proactive and willing to learn. - M-F 40 hours per week - Fully On-site - Background in operating power electronics testing equipment - Understanding of dangers of working on high voltage products - Knowledge of communication standards used with charging products Assignments and roles will include but not limited to the following: The role of the Energy Systems Test Technician is to perform development testing and internal performance-to-specification validation of Hondas EVSE product line up. Additionally competitive benchmarking of commercially available EVSEs will be performed. Working within Hondas EVSE Laboratory Safety Procedures the Test Technician works with Honda Engineering personnel to prepare test apparatus laboratory equipment test plans and data collection to assess and document the systems under test. The Test Technician will work with Honda Engineers to compile and report the test results in concise and easy to understand formats. The Test Technician will be responsible for organizing and maintaining data repositories for all Test Plans Test Procedures Equipment Calibration history and maintaining a safe and orderly workspace. This position supports commercialization of our Honda EVSE product portfolio using state-of-the-art test equipment and collaborative vendor engagement with manufacturers of power processing and measurement systems.
