Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 01/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: Radiology Interventional Technologist Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Location: Novi, MI 48374 Shift: day shift 40 hours Hourly Pay - $66/hr Principal Duties And Responsibilities: - -Explains examination procedure to patients and prepares patient for the examination. -Obtains additional information about the patient's medical history as necessary. -Prepares prescribed contrast median, medications, and IV solutions for administration to patients. -Reviews clinical data on requisition, analyzes anatomical structure of patient, sets up equipment and, following protocols, and assists Radiologist in performing complex diagnostic invasive procedures. -Prepares and sets up sterile equipment, physiological monitors, pressure injectors, and imaging equipment required for the procedure. -Ensures the adequate supplies such as needles, catheters, etc. are on hand and properly stored. -Replenishes supplies as appropriate. Required Education: -High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. -Must maintain required hours of continued medical education. Required Certification & Licensure: -Must maintain a Healthcare Provider certification (BLS). -Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with the advanced registry in one of the following: Cardiac-lnterventional Radiography (CI). Vascular- lnterventional Radiography (VI). Cardiovascular-lnterventional Radiography (CV). Note: 3-5 years exp in interventional Registered ARRT if they have vascular exp that is a plus Must have Stroke/neuro interventional exp 0700-1930 40 hours.
