What You’ll Do :

  • Lead exciting planning projects, from zoning by-laws to long-range policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, council, and the public to shape the community’s future.
  • Take on engaging challenges that require innovative approaches to modern planning needs.


Your key qualifications and experience:

  • A university degree in Planning or a related field.
  • Designation as a Registered Professional Planner with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, or you’re actively working towards it.
  • Three to five years of hands-on planning experience, ideally in a municipal setting, with a bonus for familiarity in agricultural or small-town contexts.
  • Experience as a Qualified Expert Planning Witness with the Ontario Municipal Board or Local Planning Appeal Tribunal.
