Job Overview

Wick Phillips is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide top-tier legal representation and advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and trial
• Draft and review complex legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform case strategies and strengthen arguments
• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients, ensuring tailored and effective solutions
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and guidance throughout the legal process
• Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and other dispute resolution activities
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management
• Uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct and embody the firm’s core values in all professional activities
• Accurately track billable hours and ensure timely reporting

Qualifications

• 7+ years of specialized experience in commercial litigation
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
• Demonstrated track record of handling and resolving complex litigation cases
• Outstanding skills in both written and oral advocacy
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
• Unwavering commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality
