SPECTRAFORCE is looking for a resilient and innovative Sr. Business Analyst to join our HQ office in Raleigh, NC.
The Opportunity:
This individual will be responsible for collaborating with various departments to identify needs, develop solutions, and translate complex requirements into clear project specifications to improve operational efficiency. Serving as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, the Sr. Business Analyst facilitates the delivery of impactful solutions that align with organizational objectives.
A Glimpse Into Your Day:
- Collaborate closely with end users across People Operations, Client Services, Delivery, and Finance to gather requirements and identify system or business needs
- Analyze business processes and workflows to develop clear and actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria
- Document requirements in Jira and manage user stories to drive agile execution priorities
- Utilize tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, and Miro to create process flow diagrams and visual representations of workflows
- Collaborate with stakeholders to map and optimize business processes, ensuring alignment with system requirements and objectives
- Provide visual documentation to simplify complex workflows and improve stakeholder understanding
- Assist the QA team in designing and executing comprehensive test case to validate functionality
- Work directly with the development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Assess and communicate potential impacts on existing functionality and workflows
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including scrum calls, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Partner with users and development teams to review and resolve support tickets promptly
- Proactively communicate updates and progress on pending issues and requirements to stakeholders
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure successful implementation
- Develop and maintain user training materials, FAQs, and system documentation
- Prepare detailed release notes for system updates and enhancements
- Conduct training sessions and demos for new users, highlighting key features and functionality
- Collaborate with the product manager to define product roadmaps and prioritization future development
- Strengthen process discipline by leveraging performance metrics and continuous improvement practices
- Facilitate alignment between business and technical teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, driving change and adoption strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Who You Are:
- High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years’ of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Proven experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, etc.) and understanding of HR, payroll, and finance processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively across multiple formats (in-person, via phone/video calls, instant messaging, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar agile project management tools
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
- Experience with global teams (preferred)
