Position: Unarmed Security Guard Location: Cherokee Casino South Coffeyville Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
• Patrol casino, smoke shops, and parking lots.
• Respond to incidents and provide first aid/CPR.
• Detect and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain positive relationships with law enforcement.
• Prepare incident reports and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Obtain CLEET unarmed security guard license within 180 days of hire.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of defensive tactics and surveillance systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and work in various environments.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds; flexible with shifts.

Additional Information:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED and 6 months of related experience.
• Work Environment: Exposure to smoke, loud noise, bright lights, and all weather conditions.
• Drug Testing: This safety-sensitive position requires pre-employment and random drug tests. Positive tests, including for marijuana, can result in a job offer rescission or termination, even with a medical marijuana license.
