We are currently seeking a Manager of Medical Economics focused on advancing cutting-edge healthcare and innovation. This position will play a pivotal role in managing economic analyses and cost-effectiveness strategies within oncology services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in healthcare economics, data analysis, and financial management, specifically within oncology care settings.
As a key member of the medical economics team, you will work closely with clinical and operational leaders to optimize resource utilization, drive financial performance, and support value-based care initiatives—all while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct economic modeling and cost-effectiveness analysis to evaluate treatments and programs.
- Lead data analytics efforts to assess healthcare utilization trends and clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising patient care.
- Assist in the forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance tracking for services.
- Support value-based care and alternative payment model initiatives.
- Prepare and present financial reports, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in health economics.
- Build relationships with key external stakeholders to stay updated on reimbursement and policy changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Economics, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare economics
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and economic modeling software (e.g., Excel, SAS, R).
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models and alternative payment structures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
