firstPRO is seeking a skilled and proactive On-Site IT Support Technician to join our client’s PC Support Team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless technology support, with a particular focus on mobile device management and password migration tasks. As part of a hands-on team, you will configure, install, and troubleshoot technical equipment while delivering exceptional on-site support for end users.
This is a long-term contracting opportunity based 100% on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, deliver, install, and validate technical equipment to meet organizational needs.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues directly at user locations.
- Provide expert assistance in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting mobile devices.
- Lead and support password migration efforts to ensure smooth transitions for users.
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems efficiently, employing creative problem-solving techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware, peripherals, and other IT assets.
- Adhere to organizational technology standards and policies while providing support.
- Offer consultative and empathetic technical assistance to end users, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Information Sciences and Technology or equivalent experience.
- least 2 years of progressive IT support experience, preferably in a clinical or highly technical setting.
- Proficiency in mobile device management and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of PCs, printers, networking, and related technology.
- Familiarity with network protocols, computer hardware/software, and peripherals.
- Strong attention to detail and a self-motivated attitude.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Adaptability and professionalism when working with staff at all organizational levels.
- CompTIA A+ certification is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to multiple business and educational locations.
- Availability for on-site support as required.
