One of Insight Global's clients is looking for an SAP EDI Product Owner to join their team. The team is currently moving to SAP S4/Hana, and that project kickoff will be in this quarter. This person will be responsible for leading the team through the process of establishing new golden transactions in that system with the eventual task of moving the company's customer base from their current Biztalk environment to the new SAP environment in the next couple of years. This person's immediate responsibilities will be creating relationships with the business, building out a prioritization list of onboardings, and helping establish a roadmap. This is a remote position, but this resource must be close enough to be able to drive to Harrisburg for meetings if needed (About 6 times per year).
Required Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of experience specifically with SAP EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
- Experience with EDI mapping from both the customer and vendor side
- Experience with SAP EDI orders, POs, invoicing, product catalogs, etc.
- Strong experience with creating roadmaps, documentation, and PowerPoint
- Experience communicating with vendors and partners
