This position is a contract opportunity, offering a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, plus 401(k), and weekly payment.

Responsibilities of the Senior Kubernetes Engineer:

  • Lead the development and management of our open-source Kubernetes environment.
  • Build, standardize, and secure Kubernetes infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Kubernetes with other tools and services, leveraging DevOps practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.

Requirements of the Senior Kubernetes Engineer:

  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes at a low level, including building and managing open-source environments.
  • Strong understanding of platform engineering principles, with a focus on security and standardization.
  • Experience with OpenShift is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools to facilitate integration and automation.
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment and lead projects.
