AI Engineer required for a rapidly growing tech start-up, with a strong commercial background in either Graph Neural Networks (GNN) or Reinforcement Learning (RL).
They have recently secured significant government contracts and are expanding to meet new challenges in the aerospace sector.
As an AI Engineer you will be pivotal in designing and implementing cutting-edge machine learning models on exciting projects that redefine the optimization of space communications and data routing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models, with a focus on graph neural networks or reinforcement learning
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team, including data scientists, aerospace engineers, and software developers, to drive innovative solutions.
- Engage deeply with time series data and advanced ML methodologies beyond basic regression.
- Contribute to existing Python code (any interest in working with Rust is also attractive).
- Play a key role in training, evaluating, and enhancing model performance.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with graph neural networks or reinforcement learning.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a professional setting.
- Background in time series data analysis and advanced model experimentation.
- Ability to thrive in a start-up environment, comfortable with rapid prototyping and iterative development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are an advantage.
