Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of protective relaying equipment and control systems
• Perform function testing of substation control circuits on relay panel, transformers & circuit breaker changeouts.
• Test and perform other electrical maintenance activity within the plant environment needed
• Role covering Texas, must be flexible to travel.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in electrical testing and commissioning
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, protective relays, and control panels
• Familiarity with relay testing equipment (e.g., Doble 6150, Omicron) and relay test software
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, protection, and control diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Travel within Texas may be required based on site locations
