Foster Lawson are currently partnered with an industry leader who are searching for an Engineering Manager at their facility in Albany, NY.

The ideal candidate will have Food & Beverage experience, as well as a track record of delivering Capex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead and mentor the engineering team, ensuring proper training and development to meet operational goals.
• Oversee capital projects, such as installing new equipment or facility upgrades, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
• Ensure the facility adheres to safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental policies.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting production lines and utilities.
• Manage the engineering budget, aiming to minimize costs without compromising quality or safety.
• Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Liaise with equipment suppliers and service providers to procure and maintain necessary resources.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to identify and implement advancements that benefit the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in a Food & Beverage manufacturing site
• 3+ years of team leadership experience
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering
